Argentina Toolkit

Argentina first appeared in international Rugby in 1910 and over the years has built up a strong following of passionate supporters. Nicknamed “The Pumas”, Argentina has competed in every Rugby World Cup Tournament since 1987. They achieved their best RWC finish ever in 2007 – overcoming France in the Bronze Final to take third place – and will be looking to improve on this in 2011. While football or soccer is the most popular sport in Argentina, the Pumas have a growing number of loyal and passionate supporters.
