On behalf of Rugby New Zealand 2011, I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers for your hard work in making Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011) a great success.

Together we have delivered an exceptional Tournament, the challenges of hosting teams in 24 regions, running 48 matches across 12 match venues and welcoming tens of thousands of fans from around the world has been no small task, but we have met each challenge and delivered what will be remembered as one of the greatest events ever to be held in New Zealand.

The Rugby has been thrilling, the fans have been fantastic and New Zealanders have really got in behind our Stadium of Four Million philosophy.

But importantly Team 2011 has been the face of the Tournament and warmly greeted our visitors with open arms. It has been so rewarding to see the great Kiwi spirit come to life.

I feel tremendously proud to have been part of Team 2011 with you. Thank you for your help in making RWC 2011 a special moment in New Zealand's history that we can all be proud of for many years to come.
