GETTING TO OTAGO STADIUM

Walking
The best way to get to Otago Stadium for the big match is to walk along the dedicated walkway. The walk from the Octagon in central Dunedin to the stadium is approximately 1.5 kilometres.

Car
Parking restrictions apply around the venue and you are encouraged to park in the central city car parking facilities. Alternatively parking is available in the industrial area in Ward Street.

GETTING TO DUNEDIN

Air

Dunedin International Airport is located 30-minutes drive from the city centre. It is serviced by scheduled flights to and from Sydney and Brisbane and domestic connections with Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Short and long term parking is available at the airport for a fee.

Sea
Situated on Otago Harbour, Dunedin is easily accessed by ship. Port Chalmers, located 15-minutes from Dunedin welcomes regular cruise ships. Bus and taxi services are available to the city centre.

Road
The main state highways bring motorists into Dunedin from one of three directions: south from Christchurch and Canterbury, east from Queenstown and Central Otago or north from Invercargill and Southland through South Otago. There are numerous coach and tour services available from all main and provincial centres.
