
GETTING TO EDEN PARK
Walking
There will be a themed walking route FanTrail, packed with entertainment for each of the Eden Park matches. The route will take you from Queen Elizabeth Square, Lower Queen Street (near Britomart), through the city to Eden Park.
Public Transport
Travel is free on special event buses and trains for three hours before kick-off (or 4 hours before the opening ceremony) and three hours after a match with a RWC 2011 match ticket.
Special event train services to/from Eden Park from:
- Kingsland Station:

before the match - services will operate from Britomart to Kingsland every 5-7minutes stopping only at Grafton station.

after the match - services will operate from both platforms of Kingsland to Britomart every 5 minutes stopping only at Grafton station.

additional services will operate on all lines to Britomart with transfers to special event trains to Kingsland Station. Limited trains will operate direct to Kingsland via Newmarket.

Morningside Station: services will operate to/ from the western suburbs at 10 -15 minute intervals stopping at all stations.

North Shore: buses depart Albany every 10 minutes stopping at all Northern Busway stations. Last bus departs 90 minutes before kick-off.

Takapuna: buses depart Hurstmere Road every 15 minutes. Last bus departs 90 minutes before kick-off.

CBD: buses depart Civic Theatre, Queen Street every 5 minutes. Last bus departs 30 minutes before kick-off.

Newmarket and Mt Eden: buses depart Remuera Road every 10 minutes stopping at Mt Eden Rail Station and Mt Eden Village. Last bus departs 50 minutes before kick-off.

South/East: buses depart Manukau Town Centre every 30 minutes on route to Botany Town Centre and Westfield Pakuranga. Last bus departs 90 minutes before kick-off.
Car
No public car parking is available at Eden Park stadium or in surrounding streets. Parking restrictions in place around Eden Park Stadium start from 3 hours before a match and end about 1.5 hours afterwards.

GETTING TO NORTH HARBOUR STADIUM
Public Transport
Travel is free on special event buses starting from 3 hours before kick-off and for 1 hour after a match (or until the crowd has cleared) with a RWC2011 match ticket.

CBD: buses depart Civic Theatre, Queen Street every 5 minutes stopping at Lower Albert Street. Last bus departs 90 minutes before kick-off.

Takapuna: buses depart Hurstmere Road every 10 minutes stopping at all Northern Busway stations. Last bus departs 60 minutes before kick-off.

South/East: buses depart Manukau Town Centre 3 ½ hours before kick-off at 30 minute intervals on route to Botany Town Centre and Westfield Pakuranga. Last bus departs 120 minutes before kick-off.

Henderson: buses depart Henderson rail station every 15 minutes via Westfield Westgate Park ‘n’ Ride. Last bus departs 75 minutes before kick-off.

Orewa: buses depart Moana Ave outside New World every 30 minutes. Last bus departs 90 minutes before kick-off.

The bus terminus situated at Hooten’s car park, on the northern side of Oteha Valley Road, is a short walk to the stadium.

A continuous event shuttle service will operate from the Bush Rd Industrial Estate via Bush Road, Rosedale Road, William Pickering Drive and Albany Highway to the stadium. It will run from 2 hours before kick-off.
Car
No public parking or accessible parking is available at the stadium. Parking restrictions in place around North Harbour Stadium start 3 hours before and end 1.5 hours after a match.
Fans can park at Park ‘n’ ride facilities and catch event transport to a match. Park ‘n’ ride locations are at Smales Farm in Westlake, Westfield Shopping Centre at Westgate, Takapuna Beach CBD and Bush Road Industrial Estate in Albany.

GETTING TO AUCKLAND
Air
Auckland Airport is a major international airport and a hub for domestic connections throughout New Zealand. You can get to the central city in 30 minutes by range bus, taxi or shuttle. Trains arrive into Britomart railway station in downtown Auckland where you can connect with all the major public transport networks.
Sea
With a prime waterfront location on the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland is easily accessed by cruise ship. Cruise ships disembark at the edge of downtown Auckland and terminals provide a range of taxi and tour services to help you explore the city.
Rail
A train network runs the length of the North Island from Auckland down to Wellington. The Overlander service takes you through the interior of the island through some of the country's most scenic landscape. Services arrive into Britomart railway station in downtown Auckland where you can connect with all the major bus, train and ferry public transport networks.
Road
The Auckland region is well connected via a network of motorways and expressways. Driving to Auckland from the north will lead you through native forests and the stunning beaches of the northern bays. Coming from the south via State Highway 1, drivers pass through lush countryside, before arriving at the Bombay Hills to travel on through to Auckland's central city.
