RWC 2011 will offer Kiwis companies a chance to give their business guests a corporate hospitality experience they will never forget. The NZ 2011 Business Club provides a unique service to connect New Zealand businesses with their overseas counterparts and what better place to host visitors than the stunning Eden Park Pavilion...
Everyone knows the best way to see a new place for the first time is with a local host. And that's exactly what visiting businesspeople will be offered during RWC 2011, through the Government's recently launched Business Club.
Since the NZ 2011 Business Club was launched in April, hundreds of local businesspeople have been signing up to host visitors who work in the same industry or have similar business interests.
Over the last few months, the NZ 2011 Office and its Ambassadors, including former All Black captains David Kirk and Sean Fitzpatrick, have carried out a series of 22 regional visits to promote the Club, with more than a thousand business people to date having turned out to find out how they can get involved.
Leon Grice, Director of the NZ 2011 Office, says they're thrilled with the response they've had, and the enthusiasm of New Zealanders to step up and be great hosts.
"Imagine an Italian Rugby fan who works in the fishing industry going to Nelson to watch his team play, and while he's there being hosted by local fishing industry people."
"They might take him fishing, then back home to BBQ their catch, and maybe talk a little business. It will be a great way to experience our country. The challenge for us now is turning this interest into authentic Kiwi experiences for our visitors that lead to long-lasting benefits for New Zealand."
The NZ 2011 Business Club is open to New Zealand and international business people. For more information, please click here.

Built in a prime location, within the grounds of Eden Park Stadium, the two-storey marquee is only a short stroll to and from the very best Category A undercover seats. The Pavilion will be serving up some of New Zealand's finest cuisine matched with great wines, a superb entertainment programme and of course, world-class Rugby action. Corporate hospitality package prices have been set on average 40% lower than those charged for RWC 2007 in France and are equal to those charged in Australia 2003 at the Tournament eight years earlier.
