A range of Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011) corporate hospitality packages went on sale today, offering domestic and international businesses a once in a lifetime experience to satisfy any appetite.
The packages provide a unique opportunity for businesses to indulge their clients and guests with New Zealand's finest cuisine, wine and entertainment, whilst enjoying some of the world's best Rugby.
Said Rugby New Zealand 2011 Ltd (RNZ 2011) CEO Martin Snedden, "These packages will showcase the best that New Zealand has to offer and the hospitality will be warm and welcoming in true Kiwi style."
The packages are set to rival corporate hospitality opportunities provided at major international sporting events but with their own unique New Zealand flavour, capitalising on the diverse local produce and personality of each region.
"These packages are the ultimate way to experience Rugby World Cup 2011. Imagine enjoying a four course gourmet meal, a selection of the finest wines and, of course, an uninterrupted view of the Rugby - what more could you want?" added Snedden.
A range of corporate hospitality packages are available from match-day functions to tailor-made holiday experiences. Single game packages start at around NZ $700-$800 per head with the top end packages during the finals series, including the Final at Eden Park, priced around NZ $2,000-$3,000 per head per game.
Official hospitality packages are being sold by two organisations, Hospitality NZ 2011 and Ticketek/John Eales 5 or their appointed sub-agents.
Several unofficial operators have been discovered illegally offering RWC 2011 match tickets and hospitality. Tickets purchased from unofficial sources may be refused entry to a Rugby World Cup match venue. Fans should only purchase packages through the official agents to guarantee the best RWC 2011 experience.
